Energists

An Energist expands their energy every day to enable them to expand the energy of others. We strive to make every interaction with us energising, whether it is an email or an event. Our theme song is Soul Survivor by Beverley Knight (the Bimbo Jones remix), its lyrics magically capture the human truth that the lessons we learn from the challenges we survive can become a superpower to revive others.

We measure our success by the impact that we make in people’s lives, organisations and communities. We’re proud geeks who love to learn every day. We’re not going to get everything right, so we’ll never stop learning to better ourselves for the next time. We have the courage and kindness to have tough conversations with ourselves and each other.

We understand privilege and the inequality of access it can bring. We believe everyone deserves to be well, everyone deserves to love what they do and everyone deserves to have a coach. Every day we are laser focused on turning these beliefs into reality.

We believe we all have an X factor, it’s just that sometimes we need a little help finding it. We believe life is MUCH too important to take seriously. We know that when we shimmy, our customers will shimmy too.It’s scientifically impossible to feel bad when you shimmy so that’s why it’s our way of expressing gratitude, recognising each other and of celebrating moments of joy.

What I know from personally working with over 10,000 professionals all over the globe is that there are two irrefutable truths – the first is that your customer experience is a product of your employee experience. 
The second is that your ability to be successful, whether it is personally or collectively, is determined by the quality and quantity of energy you have. 
You can only achieve what you have energy for. It’s that simple. 
I learned this hard way by experiencing a severe burnout, or energy crisis, as a senior executive running a $9B brand impacting 16 million customers and 80,000 employees and partners.
Every day I wake up to enable people to avoid what I went through and partner with organizations who are as obsessed as I am about creating inclusive, innovative and mentally healthy workplaces that make a positive impact on the world around them.
